Martini–Henry breech-loading single-shot cavalry carbine (38 inches) .577/450 Martini–Henry calibre. Ladder Pattern sight. Proof stamps include broad arrow mark and war office. butt plate had markings (see photos). Butt stop reads 2 GM A. Comes with bayonet and ammo pouch containing a drill round. (customer notes carbine will require a new firing pin before cycling easily available). This is obsolete calibre so can be legally owned in the UK without a firearms licence as a curiosity or part of a collection for display purposed only. Section 58, of the firearms act applies.
