The India General Service Medal 1895, with Punjab Frontier (1897-98) Clasp. Adjutant to his battalion and mentioned in despatches and Queens South Africa Medal with Relief of Ladysmith, Tugela Hight's and Cape Colony Clasp awarded to Captain Victor Frances Alexander, Keith-Falconer late of the Somerset Light Infantry. Killed in action (KIA) 21st February 1900 at the Tugela river, Grobelaars Kloof, South Africa . He is buried close to where he fell, near Fort Wyllie and the village of Colenso. Natal, South Africa.
