Two sets of WW1 Medals including Mons stars with Mons Star clasps (5th Aug – 22nd Nov 1914) . 1914 Mons Star, British War Medal, The Allied Victory Medal Trios awarded to 7399 Pte Sidney George Davies, and 6847 Pte Albert Victor Coles both 1st Battalion Somerset Light Infantry (Prince Alerts) and Gloucestershire Regiment. Sidney and Albert lived in the same house in Kenn road Clevedon. Both were reservists, both went to France in 1914, Both transferred to the Gloucester regiment then back to the SLI before the end of the war. Photos of the men and documentation with the sets including a photo of the Clevedon branch of the Mons Club.
